Objective
AION worked with a global pharmaceutical brand on a clinical trial for a rare disease called Cushing Syndrome. With an estimate of only 10 million people in the US with Cushing Syndrome, the company’s objective was to reach people who showed symptoms of Cushing Syndrome and who were willing to participate in the study.
Solution
AION was tasked with building a data set of patients who had Cushing Syndrome and used real-time behavior data to determine who was actively looking for an alternative solution. With such a small audience, this included multiple data clusters to determine key identifiers.
The audiences were then segmented behaviourally, demographically and geographically into custom clusters. This allowed our creative team to create tailored messaging that resonates directly with potential patients.
Result
AION generated over 400 leads of people who had Cushing Syndrome and that were willing to participate in the clinical trial.
